Aashadam Gorintaku
With the arrival of Ashadam, the month that marks the onset of the monsoon season, The Jain International School joyfully embraces and celebrates our rich cultural traditions.
Our girls beautifully adorned their hands with Gorintaku (Henna). Applying Gorintaku during the month of Ashadam is a cherished tradition in South India. Henna is known for its natural antibacterial properties and its cooling effect, making it a meaningful traditional practice during the monsoon season.
This simple yet beautiful tradition helps connect our students with their cultural roots and reminds us of the wisdom embedded in our traditional way of life.
Wishing everyone a healthy, joyful, and blessed Ashadam!
Warm regards, Principal
The Jain International School
