All teachers and admin staff attended the ceremony, adding to the festive spirit. Sweets were distributed to mark the occasion. The event also marked the inauguration of the new academic session for grades 11 and 12, with a sacred pooja ceremony seeking divine blessings for a successful year.

🧘♀️ International Yoga Day Celebration at The Jain International School 🧘♂️
“Yoga is India’s gift to the world — a journey from the self, to the self.”
On 21st June 2025, The Jain International School joyfully celebrated International Yoga Day with enthusiasm, purpose, and a deep sense of pride in India’s rich spiritual heritage.
The celebration was held under the esteemed guidance of our Hon’ble Administrative Director, Shri Y. Dakshina Murthy Sir, the visionary leader and pillar of our institution. His continuous support and encouragement made the event impactful and meaningful. We were also honoured by the gracious presence of our Hon’ble Principal, Smt. N. Sreelakshmi Ma’am, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into our daily lives.
The event witnessed active participation from all teachers, staff, and students, who came together to celebrate the essence of yoga. The program began with a reminder of yoga’s origin — an ancient Indian science gifted to the world — and paid homage to Lord Shiva, the Adi Yogi, who is believed to be the first yogi.
The students showcased various yoga asanas, performed the Surya Namaskar, and also participated in an energetic Zumba dance session, blending traditional wellness practices with modern expressions of movement and joy.
The celebration not only highlighted the physical benefits of yoga but also its power to promote inner peace, discipline, and unity.
It was truly a day of reflection, mindfulness, and celebration of our heritage—one that left everyone rejuvenated and inspired.

National Doctors’ Day Celebration at TJIS
The Jain International School proudly celebrated National Doctors’ Day with immense joy and enthusiasm, creating a memorable experience for our young learners and the entire school community.
Our Pre-primary students truly stole the show, enthusiastically participating in the event by dressing up as adorable little doctors. Their charm, confidence, and sense of occasion brought the spirit of the day alive, reflecting both admiration and understanding of the medical profession at such a young age.
The celebration was honoured by the gracious presence of Mr. Y. Dakshinamurthy, Hon’ble Administrative Director, Ms. N. Sreelakshmi, Hon’ble Principal, and Mr. Vishwaksen Balaji, Primary Academic Coordinator. Their presence inspired and encouraged our students to engage deeply in the spirit of appreciation and gratitude.
A highlight of the celebration was a thoughtful skit presented by the children, which emphasized the vital role doctors play in our lives and celebrated their relentless dedication to serving humanity. The skit beautifully conveyed the message of compassion, responsibility, and the selfless service that defines the medical profession.
Adding a touch of fun and flair, the students also took part in a delightful ramp walk, confidently showcasing their doctor-themed outfits with pride and joy. It was heartwarming to see our young minds express such deep respect and admiration for healthcare heroes.
Doctors’ Day, observed on July 1st across India, commemorates the birth and death anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal. His life and contributions continue to inspire generations.
The event was not just a celebration, but a meaningful tribute to our real-life heroes in white coats. It was a day filled with learning, joy, and gratitude—a perfect blend of education and heartfelt appreciation.
Student Council Elections 2025 at TJIS
At The Jain International School (TJIS), we believe education goes beyond textbooks—it’s about preparing students to be responsible, future-ready citizens. A shining example of this was seen on 5th July 2025, when the school successfully conducted its much-anticipated Student Council Elections.
From the excitement in the air to the seriousness in the ballot rooms, the event was a true celebration of democratic spirit and experiential learning. Many students participated as first-time voters, enthusiastically taking their place in a process that mirrors the larger democratic framework of our nation.

Dressed in colorful attire, the girls adorned their hands with beautiful gorintaku (mehendi) patterns—a symbolic and heartfelt ritual that signifies positivity, well-being, and the spirit of togetherness.

Bonalu Celebrations at TJIS
At The Jain International School, culture and tradition are celebrated with heart and harmony—and this year’s Bonalu festivities were no exception. The campus came alive with color, rhythm, and devotion as students and staff joined together to honor this iconic festival of Telangana.
The celebration began with a traditional welcome, as students dressed in vibrant ethnic attire gathered in the assembly area. The air was filled with the sound of dappu drums, devotional songs, and joyful cheers. Girls adorned in festive sarees and lehengas carried beautifully decorated Bonam pots on their heads, symbolizing offerings to Goddess Mahakali.
From spiritual rituals to cultural performances, the event beautifully showcased the essence of Bonalu. Students from various grades performed traditional folk dances, skits, and songs that reflected the spirit of gratitude, protection, and cultural pride. The sight of synchronized steps and colorful costumes truly mesmerized everyone present.
Teachers and staff also actively participated, sharing insights on the significance of Bonalu and its roots in Telangana’s history. It was a moment of pride to see our young learners embrace heritage while expressing creativity with grace and enthusiasm.
